Sunrise Villas is a development of 32 detached single-family houses in the El Sobrante hills. There are four different floor plans, ranging in size from 2,000 sf to 2,300 sf on two or three levels. Each house has an attached two-car garage, a private patio, and a fully landscaped front yard. To promote individuality and architectural interest, a variety of colors, materials, and architectural features were used. To capture the views, the group open space is centrally located at the top of the hill, providing a play area for young children. A lush landscape buffer was created between the homes and Appian Way providing privacy and sound reduction for the residents.
