A complete remodel of this 31,000 sf, two story existing building located in Antioch, California. Renovations to this existing senior care facility included converting it in to two types of facility with a separate section for memory care services. The interior renovations included creating a new dining hall, a new living room, and converting several existing rooms & common spaces to additional rooms in order to increase the total occupancy from 36 units (72 beds) to 41 units (82 beds). In addition, several restrooms were converted to accessible rooms per the latest building codes, and new finishes, colors, and updated lighting for the hallway and common areas completed the interior changes. Exterior improvements included several modifications to facade and main entry, as well as new colors and finishes. Site improvements included updates to parking area and path of travel based on new accessibility codes as well as new pylon signs.
